Hey there!

I'm Ben Vore, a 24-year-old living in Saratoga Springs, UT. Originally from Odessa, Texas, I came to Utah for school at BYU, where I'm pursuing dual degrees in Neuroscience and Spanish Studies.

Besides performing at weddings and private events, I'm a piano instructor at Volz Method Piano Academy.

My hobbies revolve around music, (especially the piano) reading, watching TV shows, the outdoors, pickleball, and being with my family. I can't wait to get to know you and create an unforgettable wedding experience together!

From Keys to Mastery: My Journey to Becoming a Professional Pianist

I have over 20 years of piano experience, starting formal piano lessons at age 4, and continuing lessons for 15 years until I was 19. My love for piano began at a very young age. My mom never had to coerce me into practice like she did my other siblings. I loved learning songs that were over my level, especially ones that my older siblings couldn't play. I basked in the feeling of mastering a difficult piece. I quickly surpassed my "piano level", and never looked back.

Over the years, my dedication to consistent practice, embracing both strengths and weaknesses, and playing engaging music has fostered a deep passion and refined skill for the piano that continues to grow to this day. This passion has led me to develop a diverse musical repertoire--numberless pieces I've learned over thousands of hours of practice over the years.

These include works in Classical piano (including the eras of the Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, & 20th/21st Century), Contemporary piano, New Age and Avant-Garde style, Pop-Rock music, Latin compositions, Musical Theatre and Film Score, Jazz Standards, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Ragtime songs, Folk songs, Country and Western music, Gospel, and Liturgical. There really isn't any type of piano style that I haven't played or learned from! Browse my piano repertoire here, and listen to me perform some of my pieces here.

I have extensive experience in various musical settings, from playing for private events and weddings to performing at prestigious venues, fulfilling the position of a choral accompanists, participation in national piano solo competitions, leading a band as the keyboardist for a traveling show-choir, and being a church pianist and organist. In addition to my piano experiences, I studied the Organ under Dr. Valerie Harris for a year at BYU, where I learned a different type of complexity in playing an instrument. Currently, I'm a piano instructor at Volz Method Piano Academy, where I have loved teaching for the past year.

My exceptional sight-reading skills allow me to quickly learn and perform new pieces, enabling me to accept requests of any kind and create personalized playlists tailored to your desired wedding atmosphere. Through the combination of my touch of personalization, and my vast and diverse repertoire, I will craft a captivating, memorable, and enchanting musical atmosphere for your event, ensuring every musical need is met with precision and creativity. Trust me to make your special day truly extraordinary—NO request is too bold: I can play it all!
